As we get older and come to terms with our mortality, we begin to think about our life and our contribution to the world thus far. We think about what we will leave to our children and our children’s children. We think about what others will know us and remember us for. We reminisce on life with the hope that we are more than satisfied with our impact on the world and the people we encounter(ed) daily. We hope that the words spoken of us will be well done!
So as you read this, I hope you will be inspired to begin creating your legacy; I assure you it is never too late to start. It is as simple as writing down what you want to be remembered for and what kind of foundation you want your biological and non-biological children to stand on.
Some of us will want to be of significant impact and may get overwhelmed by the many ideas of impact we carry within, but I tell you less is sometimes best. Quietness is always preferable to loudness. We can make a significant impact through small deeds, so when starting, start small.
