There are days that will oftentimes remind us of our humanity.  That despite the many miracles that takes place in our lives and boost our confidence, cementing the fact that we are not alone – in the very experience, we are gently yet forcefully reminded  that when the odds are against us we must push through.

…and that we need to exert added energy a tad bit more to get over the hump.

I love this quote from Elon Musk which says

When something is important enough, you do it even if the odds are not in your favor. 

I firmly believe that when you push through and achieve that which you set out to do it makes the victory so much sweeter and worth celebrating. This is simply because you have conquered the mountain, you have stood on its summit and commanded it to yield.

You discover in this moment that it is not the conquering of the mountain, but the conquering of one soul that sets the spirit free.
