If you have ever wondered about traveling overseas for an Immersion Programme or studying a foreign language then this conversation is for you.

We recently caught up with PHD Candidate, teacher of English and founder of Languesol International Rhody-Ann Thorpe, a Jamaican who has been living in France for the past 10 years.

At age 29 she is the owner of Languesol International, a company that caters to individuals (of all ages) who have an interest in learning languages.

Languesol is also Jamaica’s Premier Language Travel Enterprise. Created in 2016, Languesol International  seeks to provide solutions for language learning, so that we can get one step closer to a world uninhibited by language barriers. 

Through their immersion programmes, they hope to promote Jamaica as a language travel destination; and to provide opportunities for Jamaicans and nationals of other countries to partake in immersion programmes that are both culturally and linguistically rich.
