“There’s something special and beautiful about everyone; it could be your eyes or your lips! Makeup enhances it for the world to see”

Loni Jones Walsh

Fun, free-spirited, and Jamaican by birth, Loni is passionate about her craft. She stands confident knowing every client leaves her hands and chair feeling like an improved version of their already beautiful self, inside and out. Loni Jones Walsh has been a makeup artist for well over a decade. Loni fell into makeup while attending the Edna Manley School of Arts and rightly so as makeup is a form of art. She has worked with countless names privately and big wigs in the entertainment industry locally and internationally. She has unveiled her art at many weddings to boot and numerous production shoots for film, still and television locally and abroad. In a short stint, Loni also worked with a cult favorite cosmetics line NARS Cosmetics and helped to launch the brand in the Cayman Islands in 2010. She currently lives in Jamaica with her family and is still very active in the local makeup industry. After all, makeup is her passion and she’s 100% committed to keeping the art alive and respectable for as long she can.

Her Passion for Makeup

Loni describes herself as a woman that loves to make women and men of all ages and walks of life feel even more beautiful. I appreciate and embrace beauty in all forms. It comes in all sorts of colors and many textures. Being able to enhance and increase the physical beauty of a person elevates the rest of their being. Their smile is brighter, their eyes sparkle and there’s a shift in energy because they become more confident within themselves even if it’s for a day or for a night.

Loni remains relevant without the noise of social media.

On the topic of social media and relevance, Loni asserts that the world of social media is definitely a noisy place. There’s so much happening and it is easy to get lost. Everyone now has an outlet and it’s a place where they can share to feel and be relevant. For her, being relevant has always been about staying on top of her game but more importantly staying true to her craft and very true to herself.
