4 Powerful Points On Using What Is In Our Hand

Read Time: 3 minutes:

Lately, a recurring question has been echoing in my mind: “What do you have in your hand?” Initially, I brushed it off, thinking I was already using what I had. But as I pondered further, I wondered if this question was a divine response to my heartfelt prayers for strategies to level up in life. If you, like me, are seeking to increase your value and improve your bottom line, then I believe this question holds a powerful strategy that I want to share with you. At ThebeyondWoman, our mission is to empower and equip women in our community with the tools and knowledge they need to level up their lives.

In the book of Exodus 4:2, we find an intriguing conversation between Moses and the Lord. When God calls Moses to lead the Israelites out of Egypt, Moses doubts his ability and questions how he can convince the people to believe in him. In response, God asks a simple yet profound question: “What is that in your hand?” Moses replies, “A staff.” This seemingly ordinary object holds a powerful lesson for us all. It reminds us that we have the potential to make a significant impact by utilizing the resources already at our disposal.

Let us explore the significance of using what’s in our hands and how it can transform our lives.

Recognizing the Value of What’s in Our Hand

The staff that Moses held was no ordinary stick; it represented his identity as a shepherd. It was a tool he used daily to guide, protect, and provide for his flock. Similarly, each one of us possesses unique skills, talents, and resources that may seem ordinary to us but hold tremendous value. By recognizing the potential of what’s already in our hands we can tap into a wealth of opportunities.

Overcoming Self-Doubt and Limiting Beliefs

Just like Moses, we often struggle with self-doubt and limiting beliefs that hinder us from taking action. We may feel inadequate or think that we need something more significant or different to make a difference. However, the Lord’s question challenges us to overcome those doubts and recognize that what we have right now is enough. By embracing our current abilities and resources, we can overcome the fear of inadequacy and step into our full potential.

Leveraging What’s in Our Hand for Growth

When Moses obediently followed God’s instruction to throw his staff on the ground, it transformed into a serpent. This miraculous transformation symbolizes the power that lies within us when we utilize what’s in our hand. Our skills and resources have the potential to grow, adapt, and achieve remarkable outcomes when we make the conscious choice to employ them effectively. Whether it’s a talent for writing, speaking, organizing, or problem-solving, our abilities can multiply and flourish when we put them to use.

Making a Difference in the Lives of Others

Moses’ staff played a pivotal role throughout the Exodus story, parting the Red Sea, bringing forth water from a rock, and performing miracles. In the same way, when we use what’s in our hand, we have the opportunity to impact the lives of others positively. By sharing our knowledge, offering assistance, or using our resources for the greater good, we can become catalysts for change and inspiration in our communities and beyond.

So Now It becomes imperative that you…

Embrace the ‘Call to Level Up’—it is what is required as you pursue personal and professional growth, that will take you to the next level. The recurring question, “What do you have in your hand?” may very well be the answer to all that you desire.

Reflect on the resources and talents you already possess and strategize ways to make the most of them. By embracing this call to level up, you will unlock new opportunities for success and fulfillment.

Recognize The Value of Your Unique Gifts—stop underestimating the value of your skills and talents. Refrain from comparing yourself to others or feel that you lack something special. The question at hand invites you to recognize and embrace the uniqueness of what you already have.

You possess a distinct set of gifts, experiences, and expertise that when utilized will make a significant impact. When you acknowledge and value your strengths, you will tap into your full potential.

Maximize Resources for Personal Growth—by utilizing what’s in your hand, you will tap into a wellspring of personal growth and development. The strategies and tools you seek may already be within your reach, waiting to be harnessed. By maximizing your existing resources—be it your knowledge, skills, or networks—you will expand your horizons, acquire new competencies, and achieve remarkable personal growth.

This a gentle reminder, you possess the means to enhance your life right now.

The question posed by God to Moses, “What is that in your hand?” resonates deeply within each one of us. It challenges us to look beyond our insecurities, doubts, and perceived limitations and recognize the power and potential within us. By embracing the resources, skills, and talents that we already possess, we can make a meaningful difference in our lives and the lives of those around us. So, let us take a step forward, unleash the power within us, and embark on a journey of growth, impact, and transformation.
