I was asked to write a motivational speech to myself recently at a private session with my counselor. I found it to be life changing as I read it over and I was reminded to love myself.
Lorraine remember this –
“A man cannot be comfortable without his own Approval”. Mark Twain.
There is only one you and your love for you is more important than what you will receive externally. It is very important to believe in yourself. There is nothing wrong with being your own cheerleader.
Your Value is created by God and cannot be diminished by man or circumstances. If you look at a 100 dollar bill that is perfect or coming from the mint you hardly want to touch it. It looks too perfect. What if someone being malicious just decides to crush that $100 bill? Would the value cease from being $100? Certainly not. So it is with your value. It is God given and nothing can remove or diminish the precious value that God has placed on you.
Your happiness is truly your own responsibility. Happiness comes when you understand who God has created you to be. The word says you are fearfully and wonderfully made by God, your beauty is not only external because He gives inner beauty when you surrender to Him.
Your future is bright because God says He knows the plans He has for you, plans to prosper and not to harm you. To give you hope and a future. You are secure in Him.
Know this! You were created for a purpose, seek the Lord to discover that purpose. Do your best to walk into that which God has called you unto. There are lives to be impacted because your story matters. Do not let the enemy deceive you into believing you are less than Royalty. You are precious in the sight of God and as his word declares “Eyes have not seen, ears have not heard, nor has it entered into the heart of man the things which God hath prepared for them that love him”. You are loved by God and His promises are real for those who love Him and that’s enough.
Lorraine, Feed your mind with the things that edify you. The word of God, reading material that opens your eyes to your sense of value, love unconditionally, serve your loved ones and others as you wish to be served and make a decision to love yourself no matter what anyone else thinks. Pamper yourself every opportunity you get girl you’re worth it.
You are precious, you are loved, you are valued, you are treasured and you are God’s beautiful handmade
